Community-ranked Kagune and Quinque tiers for Ghoul and CCG players.
Ro-Ghoul by SushiWalrus splits combat into two factions: Ghouls wield Kagune while CCG investigators fight with Quinque forged from defeated ghouls. Both weapon lines have dozens of unlocks priced in Yen, gated by RC stages, and tuned for different ranges and playstyles. This hub collects our full tier rankings so you can see what the community considers S-tier before you grind millions of Yen or reset your build.
Tier lists are never permanent law. SushiWalrus patches damage, cooldowns, and matchmaking brackets over time, and a weapon that dominates open-world PvP may feel merely average in structured Matchmaking. Still, consensus tiers help new players avoid trap purchases and give veterans a shared vocabulary when theorycrafting with the official Discord community.
How we rank weapons
Each list scores options from S (meta-defining, worth long-term investment) down to D (meme picks or poor cost-to-power ratios). We weigh:
- Damage and combo potential in real PvP, not training-dummy numbers
- Utility — mobility, healing, block skills, crowd control, and stage evolution payoffs
- Cost-to-value — a 500K Yen starter should not be judged like a 500M Yen endgame unlock
- Skill floor — IXA and Amatsu reward mastery; Scorpion and Ken Kaneki stay approachable
- Farming efficiency — some Quinques exist mainly to print Yen until you afford Narukami or Owl
We separate Ghoul and CCG lists because the economies differ. Ghouls stack RC from NPC hunts and evolve Kagune stages; CCG players buy Quinque from the lab and often run glass Focus builds early with Clipped Wing before pivoting to IXA or SSS-tier Owl.
Kagune tier list
Ghouls choose among Ukaku, Koukaku, Rinkaku, Bikaku, Chimera, and rare Kakuja lines. Community S-tier staples include Ken Kaneki, Touka Kirishima, Hinami Fueguchi, and Akuma No Ketsueki — each excels in a different lane (reach, speed, control, or sustain). Quinque tier list
CCG weapons span Ukaku rifles, Koukaku shields, Rinkaku whips, Bikaku blades, Chimera hybrids, and Kakuja Owl forms. Narukami, Owl (often called SSS Owl in community talk), and IXA anchor S-tier PvP, while Clipped Wing remains the classic early-game farm tool despite a low combat tier. Kajiri sits higher for Yen printing than for duels; Rotten Follow is widely avoided at 100M Yen.

Ixakami (IXKA) dual-wield stage
Veteran CCG players who own both IXA and Narukami can unlock Ixakami (IXKA) — a dual-wield fusion stage at level 1000+ and 15M RC with Lance, Ranged, and Reaper modes plus priority swap mechanics. IXKA is S-tier in skilled hands but not a shortcut around buying both parent quinques first.

Faction Trello boards exist for groups like Aogiri Tree, but Ro-Ghoul itself has no single official public Trello from SushiWalrus. Fan wikis and Discord pins drift out of date; we cite Matchmaking trends and patch notes when ranking. GHOUL://RE is a separate Roblox experience — do not confuse its tier lists with main-game Ro-Ghoul.

Does Kagune type (Ukaku, Rinkaku, etc.) decide tier?
No single type dominates every patch. Tier rankings judge named unlocks — Ken Kaneki (Rinkaku) and Touka (Ukaku) both sit in S-tier for different reasons. Pick the kit that matches your range preference and budget, then verify stages and RC costs on the Kagune page.
Why is Clipped Wing ranked low but still recommended?
Clipped Wing scores poorly in PvP tier lists because gun skills need aim and deal weak burst damage. It remains popular for early leveling because it is cheap, offers movement skills, and pairs with glass Quinque Focus builds while you farm Yen for IXA or Owl.
How often should I re-check these tiers?
